We held a consultation about the expansion of the Ipolyszalka Country House that will be implemented in the RE-CREATION project.
The expansion of the Ipolyszalka Country House is one of the elements of the RE-START action plan to be implemented in the framework of the RE-CREATION project starting on 01 January 2021. The Country House was built in 1897 and it was renovated in 2003 by the Ipoly-Region Tourism Association. The Association was established to rescue folklore values, the knowledge of our great-grandparents that was everyday life for them, and preserve those for the younger generation. School groups and families have been continuously visiting the Country House since 2004. It has hosted the summer handicraft camp since 2006.
In addition to the expansion of the Ipolyszalka Country House, equipment will be procured during the project, and the bicycle charging station will also be built, by this linking into the e-bicycle system implemented with the participation of Ipolydamásd and Bernecebaráti. The Country House expanded during the action plan will host the programs facilitating dialog between generations to be implemented in the RE-BIRTH project, as well as organize handicraft programs primarily for elderly people.
