The main objective of the project is to increase employment, mainly by helping older working-age residents to integrate into the labour market, but also to coordinate cross-border capacity between local institutions involved in elderly care and to improve the health status of the population through the purchase of a screening bus.
Mentors, trained by the Hungarian Maltese Relief Service, will help older residents to re-enter the labour market. The mentoring programme is implemented by the Szob District Family and Child Welfare Centre and started in 2020.
The Municipality of Szob has set the goal of improving the health of the population in the area by purchasing a MobilLab bus, which helps to improve the health of the population, especially the older, less mobile population, through the early detection of certain diseases.
The MobilLab bus was purchased and commissioned in 2020.
In order to stimulate the labour market, the project supported the purchase of productive equipment for two small and medium-sized enterprises in Slovakia, which, in addition to increasing production capacity, also led to an increase in the number of employees.
