RE-BOOT

Project ID: SKHU/1802/3.1/053
Duration of the Project: 1 November 2019 – 30 October 2021

The aim of this project is to stimulate the labor market in the region, to launch an integrated cross-border social and care network for the elderly, to help the elderly and to improve the health conditions of the population. The acquisition of equipments by two small and medium-sized enterprises participating in the project will be subsidized to achieve these goals, which will result in an augmentation in production capacity as well as an increase in the number of employees. The Szob District Family and Child Welfare Center will establish a bilingual, online system for cross-border capacity coordination in the field of care for the elderly, which will facilitate the efficient management of limited spaces, manpower and financial resources. In addition, a mentoring program will be organized to help mentors return to the labor market for older residents. The training of mentors is carried out by the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, while the employment of mentors is the responsibility of the Szob District Family and Child Welfare Center. With the purchase of a LAB bus, the Local Government of the City of Szob aims to improve the health of the people living in the area, which helps to ameliorate the health of the population, especially the older, less mobile ones, by early detection of certain diseases.
